This page will cover all the base structures that you can build using a Hammer. All structures need to be placed on a Foundation, and require a Resource Vault to prevent them from decaying.
This list goes through the Hammer UI clockwise. Structures can be upgraded or removed with the upgrade option at the very top of the UI.
Base structures cannot be disassembled after 15 minutes. While inconvenient, this is a necessary game balance decision to prevent players from locking base storage crates into 1x1 rooms, or replacing their front doors with walls after logging out.

Foundations are what you will construct the rest of your base on top of. These are the strongest structure with the most HP, but can only be placed directly connected to the ground. All other structures must be supported with a foundation at the bottom.

Your main method for preventing unwanted visitors from entering your base. Provides support for connecting Ceilings, or other walls for upper levels. If the bottom wall is blown, the wall its supporting above may be destroyed as well if its the only supporting structure. This can be prevented by placing Scaffolds or other Walls to support a Ceiling on the same lower Foundation. This way the upper wall still has support through that ceiling, and will not collapse when the lower wall is blown. If there are no other walls on the lower foundation, the upper wall will collapse.

Frames from windows. Can be crouch jumped through, so be sure to place a Base Lock on your window shutters if they are close to the ground. Don't forget that players can stand on top of a UAZ to access 2nd floor windows.
