Cargo Drops are a simple Event that can provide some medium tier loot for the player that is lucky enough to get there first.
¶ Cargo Drop Mechanics
This event is not that complicated, a helicopter will fly over the map, and will drop the cargo somewhere on the map. When the cargo is dropped out of the helicopter, it will fly on a parachute down to the ground. As soon as the drop starts falling, a notification will be sent to the entire server, and the event icon will become visible on the map. When the cargo hits the ground, orange smoke will come out of the top, and the crate becomes lootable. There is no enemy AI to deal with here, the only potential challenge is other players coming to contest the loot in the cargo. These events can spawn anywhere on the map, as long as it isn't too close to a player made Base. Unlike Heli Crashes, Cargo Drops can sometimes rarely spawn inside of military bases, or other structures.
¶ Cargo Drop Loot
Compared to some other Events, like a Hard Mission, or Heli Crash, Cargo Drops aren't nearly as good. But considering that it takes very little time to get the loot from a Cargo Drop, they are very time efficient. These are particularly useful for a new player, who doesn't have any armor or an AR yet.

- At least 50 5.45x39, and 50 7.62x39. Sometimes can spawn up to 100 of each.
