¶ Weapon Overview
The Fasam is a rare and expensive high tier assault rifle, with the fastest cyclic rate of any assault rifle in Deadside. However, this high damage output comes with lots of trade-offs, like its price, erratic recoil, small default magazine size, poor handling, and tall sight mount, causing potential height over bore issues. Some of these issues can be addressed with weapon mods, for example, a 5.56 Muzzle Brake or 5.56 Extended Magazine can help fix the recoil and magazine size problem. But, this comes at an even higher price, and the poor handling and high sight mount are still present, so its not perfect. But, with the right weapon mods, and some practice, this weapon use its high damage output to be very deadly.
The Fasam is based of the real life FA-MAS G2, however the Fasam in Deadside has a much slower cyclic rate than its real life counterpart, which sits around 900- 1150RPM.
This weapon is repaired with a Tier 2 Assault Rifle Repair Kit
