The N4 is a high tier, semi-automatic shotgun, the only weapon of its type in Deadside. Being a semi-auto shotgun, this weapons destructive power is immense, able to clear rooms efficiently and quickly, as long as the user can land their shots. Its damage output is a bit less than the MS590, 200 raw damage instead of the 590's 234, and it has three less pellets. But, this is just enough damage to one shot players through any armor, if you are close enough to land all of the required pellets. Its recoil is a bit high, but its fire rate isn't incredibly fast, so it shouldn't be a problem. Its range is average for a shotgun, and while it might not be able to reach out the farthest, the N4 can compensate by firing quick follow up shots. The N4 is quite rare, and expensive, so getting your hands on one isn't nearly as easy as getting any of the other shotguns. Still, the N4 is a very good tool for close quarters fights. Played correctly, a player can quickly peek angles, put an extreme amount of damage down range, and get back to cover, faster than they could with almost any other weapon.
The N4 is based off the real life Benelli M4, from the Benelli Super 90 family of shotguns, famous for their excellent handling and firepower.
