The PP-3000 is a compact sub-machinegun, that is unique in Deadside in many ways. Its overall length is extremely short, making it easy to move around in tight areas. Its rate of fire is good, at 700RPM, but its magazine capacity is very low, at only 20 rounds. This is enough to drop maybe one or two players in a single spray, if you are lucky, but you will be reloading a lot with this weapon. There is an extended magazine available that doubles its capacity to 40, effectively killing this drawback. As with all SMGs in Deadside, the weapon is inaccurate at even medium range due to its small barrel.
Interestingly, the PP-3000's damage type is set to rifle damage, meaning it has slightly better performance against armor than all other SMGs except the P900, which also has the same rifle damage type
A fully modded out PP-3000 is an extremely competent CQC weapon, with its only drawback being its cyclic rate. So unless your opponent is using something like a P900 or AR4 that has a very fast RPM, you should have a clear advantage.
The PP-3000 is based off the real life PP-2000, which is used mainly by Russian special police units/security forces.
