¶ Weapon Overview
The NK417 is a high tier DMR that is the only weapon to use the .308 cartridge. This weapon only deals a high 80 damage combined with a decent rate of fire of 180. Its weapon handling is essentially that of an AR, with fast ADS time, and a decent reload speed. This weapon tends to do best in medium range combat where it can outpace both Snipers, and out damage ARs. Headshots with this weapon are deadly against armored players, allowing you to drop them with a follow up shot.
Shooters need to be quick and accurate to take advantage of this weapon platform. Or you could have multiple people in a squad running these weapons to compensate for your misses. In the hands of a competent squad this weapon is extremely scary. It allows multiple people to lay down lots of high damage fire, at a fast enough rate that the target isn't able to return fire without being killed immediately. Its a deadly combination of precision, damage, and volume of fire.
The NK417 is based off the real life HK417.
