¶ Weapon Overview
The MG36 is one of two light machineguns in Deadside, this weapon can mainly be found in the hands of the MG Convoy Boss. The MG36 has the largest magazine out of any weapon in the game, with an impressive cyclic rate to go with it. It is extremely good at fighting enemies when you are outnumbered, as well as pushing into areas and buildings. You can easily pin an enemy in a room by simply shooting into it, while pushing inside at the same time, that way the enemy cannot peak without walking into your stream of bullets. Its recoil is a bit inconsistent compared to other Assault Rifles, however its still very controllable overall. Its reload is very slow, the slowest of any magazine fed weapon in the game, but this is almost never an issue because of how large each magazine is. Its a decently accurate weapon at range, however this gun excels at closer ranges. Its much easier to find this weapon than any other high tier Assault Rifle as well, since all you have to do is grab it from the convoy boss.
This weapon can only be purchased from a Roaming Trader. They can spawn in a Heli Crash, Cargo Drop, Bunker Crate, or the reward in a Medium, Hard, or Epic Mission.
The MG36 is based off a real life variant of the G36, also called the MG36.
This weapon is repaired with a Tier 2 Assault Rifle Repair Kit
