This mission offers some mid-level gear, while being decently quick and easy to complete.
Medium Missions are on the lower end of difficulty and loot quality, however, they are without a doubt a step above an Easy Mission. The AI is slightly less dumb, and more numerous, and the quality of the mission reward is much better. Medium Missions are known to be very time efficient, and while they don't usually drop high tier loot, the reward is good enough that even high tier players will do a Medium Mission while waiting for other Events to spawn. This means that PvP is much more common at Medium Missions compared to an Easy Mission, however this can vary depending on the location of the mission itself. One of the more notable things about Medium Missions, is that the reward can rarely spawn high tier items, particularly weapons.
¶ Completing a Medium Mission
The AI can either be Military AI, or Bandit AI depending on the location. Many Medium Mission locations can spawn both types. The AI are still easy enough that an experienced player can spawn into a town nearby, grab a gun, and then go complete the mission. However if you are new and unfamiliar with the map, this is not such a simple task, and will require a bit of preparation. Some sort of body armor, decent healing, and a Military Tier weapon is recommended. The main challenge of the AI present at Medium Missions is their numbers. Their aim and gear aren't that much better than what you would find at an Easy Mission, however because you are facing double the bots in some cases, the player can be overwhelmed by the AI. So, having a weapon with a higher magazine capacity can help a lot. Its also more important to stick to good cover, to make sure you do not get outflanked or overwhelmed by the bots if you need to heal or reload.
As mentioned above, PvP is much more common at these missions compared to an Easy Mission. This is because you can sometimes see many different types of players coming to complete the event. This all depends on the location of the mission, if its a location that happens to be in the central areas of the map, chances are that you will see more players, especially if not many other events are active at the time. In any case, you will need to be a bit more aware of third parties while doing the mission, especially while looting the reward.
Just like any other mission, the objective is to go to the location marked on the map, and kill all the AI. Then the reward will spawn inside the mission area, with a blue outline and checkmark visible through walls;
¶ Rewards
The Rewards from a Medium Mission are similar to the Easy Mission Reward in a lot of ways, however the biggest difference is the rare chance to find a high tier item, like a rare weapon, scope, armor, or code lock. They also typically drop more money, and more healing. There is also the Dogtag which will always be in the reward. So, the quality of the reward just depends on your RNG, sometimes it will be just like an Easy Mission reward, other times you will get better loot than a Hard Mission, although that is decently rare.
