~25 to 40+ Hostile AI |

This Event has some of the most intense PvPvE combat that Deadside has to offer, and because of this, they can be one of the most memorable experiences the game has to offer.
Epic Missions are the pinnacle of all missions in Deadside. It is without a doubt, one of the hardest Events in the game, if not the hardest of them all. The AI is very accurate, they aren't on the same level as Heli Guards or the Convoy Bosses, but they get close. What they do have that those other bots don't is numbers. Epic Missions have the most AI in one spot in the entire game currently, and can easily overwhelm groups of players in bad positions. If that wasn't enough, some locations have strong auto-turrets that will shoot any player in the vicinity. Its best to avoid these turrets, trying to fight them head on requires specific gear. But for all that risk, the mission reward has possibly the single best loot pool in the entire game. They will always have two high tier weapons, muzzle brakes, scopes, and often some good equipment to go with it.
Epic Missions are very similar to Hard Missions, except the AI is smarter, more numerous, and have auto-turret backup. Even still, all of the strategies you normally would use to complete a mission still apply. You will just need to be more careful, because the AI and turrets will be quick to punish any mistake. It's worth mentioning that some locations are easier than others, this is because some areas are totally indoor, limiting the engagements to close range, while others and much more spread out. The closer the better, generally you either want to be very close to the AI, or far enough away so that they cant shoot back. Additionally, some Epic Missions, like the one at the north west sawmill, won't have auto-turrets.
We highly recommended bringing at least decent gear to these missions, with plenty of healing. As always, an experienced player with a bit of luck could clear this mission with little to no gear at all, but for the average player, they will need the gear to deal with the high amount of bots, and the other players. PvP at these missions is very similar to what you would see at a Hard Mission, however squads of experienced players with good gear are common at these missions. Map knowledge becomes more important than ever to both deal with the punishing bots, and experienced players.
Just like any other mission, the objective is to go to the location marked on the map, and kill all the AI. Then the reward will spawn inside the mission area, with a blue outline and checkmark visible through walls;
The Rewards from an Epic Mission is one of the best in the game out of any event, especially if you are looking for high tier weapons. The loot from the reward crate is almost always very good, its rare to not get at least a few items that made it worth your time. The most notable thing in the reward crate of an Epic Mission, is that it will always have 1 high tier weapon inside. While sometimes this high tier weapon can be a bit undesirable, like an F-57 or AK-SM, most of the time you will get something good, or at least something that will sell for a lot. These missions also always spawn rare ammunition, which could save you a trip to a Roaming Trader. This also makes using these weapons a bit more viable to take to the mission, since you will most likely get more ammo for it when you get the reward.
